Agreement to Terms

By booking driving lessons with Cullatagh Driving School ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

Booking and Payment

Lesson Booking

• Lessons must be booked in advance
• A valid provisional driving licence is required before starting lessons
• Minimum 2-hour lesson duration unless otherwise agreed
• Block bookings are non-refundable but transferable with notice

Payment Terms

• Payment is required before or at the start of each lesson
• Block booking payments must be made in full in advance
• Accepted payment methods: cash or bank transfer
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice

Cancellation Policy

• 72 hours notice required for lesson cancellation
• Less than 72 hours notice: full lesson fee payable
• Instructor cancellation: alternative lesson offered or full refund
• Weather-related cancellations: rescheduled at no extra cost

Student Responsibilities

• Arrive on time for lessons
• Bring valid provisional licence to first lesson
• Wear appropriate footwear and clothing
• Inform instructor of any medical conditions affecting driving
• Follow instructor's guidance and safety instructions
• Maintain appropriate behavior during lessons
• Not to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs

If responsibilities are not met, the instructor has the right to refuse to conduct the lesson and no refund will be given.

Instructor Obligations

• Provide professional instruction following DVSA guidelines
• Maintain valid ADI certification
• Keep accurate records of student progress
• Maintain appropriate insurance coverage
• Provide a clean, safe, and well-maintained dual control vehicle

Test Booking

• Theory and practical test bookings are student's responsibility
• Instructor will advise on test readiness
• Use of instructor's vehicle for test is subject to learner's ability to drive and vehicle availability

Insurance and Liability

Our vehicles are fully insured for driving instruction. However, students are responsible for their actions and may be liable for damage caused by negligence or failure to follow instructions.

Block Bookings

• After you pass, any remaining funds will be refunded pro-rated based on the number of lessons remaining minus the block booking discount
• Payments are non-refundable and will expire 6 months after purchase

Complaints Procedure

If you have any complaints about our service:

• Raise concerns directly with your instructor first
• Submit formal complaints in writing
• We aim to resolve all complaints within 14 days
• Unresolved issues can be referred to the DVSA

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or our website.
